The Western Force is a professional rugby union team based in Western Australia competing in the elite Super Rugby Pacific and Super W competitions.

As an organisation, the Force has a proud history, having been formed in 2004 and making its Super Rugby debut in 2006 at its original home, Subiaco Oval. Backed by Tattarang, the club operates at the highest level of sporting professionalism in Western Australia and has a strong presence nationally and internationally.

**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Engagement and Operations, the Social & Digital Engagement Lead is responsible for the growth of the Western Force brand in the digital realm, inclusive of all teams involved. (Super rugby teams both men and women, and academy).

By being ahead of the trends and embracing the ever-changing social media landscape, you will be able to challenge the mix of “traditional marketing” to use creative flair, attention to detail, and passion for sport to increase the club’s reach and impact.

**Qualifications**:
You have over 2 years of experience working in a similar role in social media, websites, and digital platforms.

You’re highly experienced in social media, with a high proficiency in scheduling, tracking, and optimising activity across each platform, understanding the nuances of the tone and audiences in various social channels.

You can capture content suitable for channels such as TikTok and Instagram reels.

You possess working knowledge of CMS (Content Management System), with the ability or willingness to learn HTML.

You have a strong understanding of professional sports in WA and rugby in general (preferred but not essential).

You have a professional background in journalism/media and design software.

You can win the hearts and minds of the coaches and the pro teams.

You are highly organised, staying across all deliverables and deadlines - internal and external.

You’re flexible and adaptable, as requirements and priorities change.

You’re passionate and enthusiastic team player - a great teammate.

You are confident in working autonomously as well as collaboratively.

You can think on your feet and respond to challenging situations as they arise.
