Manager Electronic Engineering

We are looking for an experienced **Manager, Electronic Engineering** to join our Engineering division. Reporting to the GM of Engineering, the **Manager, Electronic Engineering will be responsible for**: - Managing a team of engineers, including electronics engineers, RF design engineers, antenna design engineers, technicians and others to ensure delivery of projects on-time, within scope and within budget. - Focused on strong team leadership but must also be able to undertake some hands-on technical tasks if required. - Resolution of technical issues in coordination with project team. - Adhere to and implement Industry best design practices. - Coordinate and assist with the requirements capture process and development of specifications. - Manage internal and external resources to achieve goals. - Measure performance and provide regular reporting to stakeholders. - Verification and validation of project deliverables as needed before release to market. - Risk management and minimisation. - Manages communication and ensures the efficient flow of information between stakeholders particularly manufacturing and sourcing teams. - Team development through training and mentoring team members. - Work in partnership with other stakeholders to achieve project goals. - Seek out industry best practice for continual professional development. - Manage and balance the workload and efficiency of the Electronics team - Design and develop electronic schematics, PCBs and components from requirements to production and commercial deployment. - Builds a positive culture that fosters team work, is outcome based and is flexible. - Ensure the team has the provision and capability to evaluate and test electronic components to specification and industry standards. - Monitors project progress and makes team adjustments to help ensure timelines are met. - Manage stakeholders and builds relationships with manufacturing, product management and sourcing teams. - Co-ordination and planning of people in association with the project managers to ensure that projects are efficiently resourced. **Qualifications and Experience required to be successful**: - Bachelor’s degree qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a similar technical discipline. - A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Manager of Engineering or similar role(s). - Experience in the full product development lifecycle of consumer electronic products from concept to final production. - Business or Engineering Management post Graduate qualifications highly desirable - Knowledge of good product design processes - Understanding and experience with discrete radio frequency design challenges preferable. - Experience with high-speed digital design. - Experience developing high quality audio circuits. - Demonstrated experience using PCB layout packages (i.e. Altium). - Experience with design for manufacture requirements. - Experience developing embedded systems. - Familiar with microprocessor interface standards (e.g. I2S, I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, USB). - Key leadership skills including communication, project planning and management, and specific technical expertise. **The Benefits**: We offer numerous employee benefits including those bespoke to the role, they are as follows: - Competitive salary package with bonus - State-of-the-art engineering development facility - Work with a product that is designed & built on-site - Company Laptop - Management training, learning and development - Flexible workplace Hybrid - Onsite + WFH If you believe you suit the criteria but more importantly, if the opportunity resonates with you please "**APPLY NOW**" with your CV.
