**_Job description_**

Due to growth and expanding locations, we are seeking caring, empathetic and experienced support workers within the Nowra region. All clients are specifically matched with support workers based on likes, dislikes, experience, common interests etc.

Your role will include, but not limited to;
**Palliative care** end of life care can include physical, emotional, social, and spiritual/religious support for patients and their families.

**Personal care **assistance with showering, dressing etc

**Domestic assistance **general housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping

**In-home respite **caring for a person/s within their home for a period of time so their carers/family members etc are able to leave the home for a break, appointments etc

**Community access **assisting clients with attending appointments, shopping, visiting friends and family, and enjoying a day out

**Group activities **attending groups with clients for interaction, events, social support and skill building
- **Shift availability **_

**Immediate start available**

Shifts available 7 days a week from 6am. Occasional over night respites available. Highly seeking workers who are also available weekends

**_Essential criteria _**
- Comprehensive car insurance
- P1 license minimum
- Valid police check (within 12 months)
- WWCC (paid employment within 12 months)
- Reliable vehicle
- First aid

**_Experience _**
- _Minimum 1 year experience

**_Qualifications_**

Cert 3/4 and higher in community services, aged care, disability support, mental health and related fields

Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
