Job Responsibilities
Provide training and customer support on instrument installations and upgrades.
Develop, implement and coordinate customer training programs and customer workshops.
Assist with instrument evaluations in the setup, interpretation of results, instrument performance and report generation.
Support company products through personal contact with research and pathology labs, laboratory personnel, purchasing staff and administrators.
Liaise with, and assist our customers to achieve a superior level of customer service. Attend to troubleshooting and problem resolution in a timely and professional manner.
Successfully implement roll out, correlations, customer training, relevant validations and transitions of lab automation hardware and reagents at new and existing customer sites.
Assess customer requirements and advise the sales team on the most appropriate products and solutions to fulfil these requirements.
Support product demonstrations for customer evaluation with the assistance of the appropriate Product and Sales Specialists to achieve sales goals.
Undertake training courses or development programs as required to improve personal levels of knowledge and skill to the level required to meet personal and company objectives.
Support and work with the Rest of Asia team as appropriate.
Provide training to internal staff related to new products and employee education.
Observe and advise management on the nature and extent of our competitor’s activities.
Provide feedback on market developments and customer needs/requirements to the sales team.
**Qualifications**:
Acceptance and willingness to travel as required
Sound knowledge and understanding of Next Generation Sequencing
Demonstrated experience with automated liquid handlers preferred
The ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of research and pathology staff including lab staff, executive management, and key opinion leaders
A high level of self-motivation ensuring the ability to work under mínimal supervision
Proven experience in a similar role
Flexibility and the ability to respond to changing requirements dictated by market situation and/or company goals
Great organizational skills and the ability to prioritise projects
A current drivers license and the ability to travel when required
Proven written and verbal English skills
Proven computer literacy in tools like MS Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Experience in implementation and training on middleware would be an advantage.
Knowledge of flow cytometry theory and techniques would be an advantage.
A Science degree (or equivalent) with automated liquid handling experience along with sound knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing would be highly desirable.
