General Summary and Overall Challenges
We are looking to hire a motivated and team oriented Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) covering Melbourne Metro and North West Victoria.
This person will have a positive, can-do attitude and work closely with the Account Manager to provide support and effective management of existing accounts in line with the territory management plans. The CAS will actively seek out sales opportunities, service delivery improvements; conduct customer training and instrument installations as required.
The CAS position is expected to contribute directly to customer retention and sales growth through recognition of improvements in sales opportunities and service delivery and enable the AM to focus on direct business development activities.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
a) Assist with managing existing accounts, providing support to Account Manager’s and the individual territory business development plans.
b) Attend to individual customer requirements including training as required, problem solving, troubleshooting and consumable inventory management etc.
c) Maintain and manage existing RPAC customer relationships, promote the Radiometer brand; proactively seek out opportunities for service delivery improvement.
d) Document all customer related activities in CRM as required in a timely way
e) Liaise and work closely with Service Engineers as required to address specific instrument problems.
f) Communicate key observations and action points pertaining to individual customer accounts to the Account Manager and Regional Sales Manager on a regular basis
g) Proactively call on all accounts on a regular basis in line with established territory management plans to maintain customer satisfaction and consistent use of analysers and associated consumables
h) Stock management - customer standing orders and stock takes
i) Advice Line - after initial 12 months
j) Take the lead on all pre-delivery workup and Installations of instruments at customer sites and associated training and regular follow up calls
k) Cat M site management and support
l) Device troubling shooting by phone, LIVE Connect or onsite
m) When required to attend any unplanned or on demand analyser service
n) Organise and facilitate Radiometer Live days and User Group Meetings
o) Any other duty as may be required
Personal Training & Competency
a) Keep abreast of scientific / clinical developments as they pertain to the Radiometer product range
b) Attend online training courses that are available
c) Highlight and discuss short and long-term training requirements with the Line Manager at regular reviews.

Academic
Essential
Tertiary Scientific Qualification or equivalent
Work experience & skills
Essential
Experience in Medical Diagnostic industry.
Knowledge of Clinical chemistry and understanding of laboratory practices.
Ability to work and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to travel, including a valid drivers’ license.
Competent user across Microsoft Applications.
Working with cross functional teams.
Desirable
Experience in basic maintenance of capital equipment.
Detailed knowledge of Radiometer products and offerings.
Competent CRM user.
IT experience within healthcare sector.
Familiarity with quality processes.
