Our federal government client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as an APS 6 Medical Device Assessor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate technical documentation and data, collate expert advice, and prepare clear statements of reasons based on investigation findings and knowledge of regulations.
- Provide timely, quality, and accurate advice on issues related to medical device and disinfectant regulation.
- Manage complex issues and stakeholders under limited direction.
- Maintain record-keeping in accordance with regulatory requirements and government policy.
- Contribute inputs and advice to policy development and business improvement related to medical devices and disinfectants.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- In-depth knowledge of medical devices and disinfectants regulatory requirements in Australia, the European Union and other regions.
- Exceptional analytical skills for reviewing technical information and making informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.

**Mandatory Qualifications**:

- Relevant higher education qualification in health or science related field of studies or biomedical engineering
