As a key member of the Office of the Deputy Director-General, Corporate Services, you will provide a high level of confidential executive, administrative and project support to the Deputy Director-General and contribute positive outcomes towards timely team deliverables.

**Here's what we're looking for**:
- Ability to maintain ethical conduct while handling sensitive information and adhering to government regulations.
- Experience in in secretariat roles overseeing agendas, documentation, and minutes for executive committees and forums.
- Ability to adapt to shifting work demands and dynamic environments, displaying flexibility, resilience, and effective problem-solving in response to changing circumstances.
- Ability to proactively coordinate multiple activities within tight timeframes, and with competing priorities in an executive office.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication and stakeholder engagement, adept at facilitating liaison, negotiation, and consultations with a diverse array of stakeholders.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Ensuring the Deputy Director-General is comprehensively briefed, prepared and supported for meetings or diary appointments by collating meeting papers and briefs.
- Undertaking research and collating detailed information to prepare the Deputy Director-General for high level meetings and forums.
- Keeping abreast of current issues which may impact on Corporate Services and report findings to the Deputy Director-General.
- Performing the secretariat role for the Corporate Leadership Team and other meetings and committees as required, including preparing, collating and distributing agendas, papers and minutes and proactively following up outstanding actions.
- Managing Corporate Services submissions to departmental governance committees, including the Executive Board, in accordance with committee requirements and timeframes.
- Coordinating and assisting with the development, registration and finalisation of briefing notes, correspondence, and submissions, ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinating and managing administrative support activities for the Office of the Deputy Director-General, and Corporate Services business areas as required, including financial, procurement, administrative and human resource issues, travel and itinerary arrangements, asset management, telecommunications, office equipment and corporate card reconciliations.
