**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We have an opportunity for an experienced Garment Technician to work with our designers and be responsible for ensuring all garment and fabrications meet the brand’s exacting standards.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Working closely with the designers**_ _**the successful applicant will;
- develop and complete all technical aspects of product tech packs and specifications
- assess & measure all incoming fit & PP supplier samples
- attend all required fit sessions
- Communicate all changes, approvals on samples & spec with instructions for next submissions
- establish and maintain block fits for key products
- complete wear testing
- Ensure the ensure critical path time-lines are met and any roadblocks identified and resolved.
- Complete reviews and testing of fabrics, components, patterns and measurements ensuring all products are fit for purpose and meet the quality standards
- liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve fabric and style queries, and ensure the accuracy or care labels and information.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Min 3-5 years’ experience as a garment development (technologist) - qualifications preferred
- Excellent time management skills to meet critical path deadlines
- Sound knowledge of garment construction process, fabric types and relevant construction techniques
- Pattern making experience preferred
- Familiarity with AS/NZ, Arpansa and quality assurance & standards
- A proven track record of working with suppliers at source
- Sound MS Excel. organisational and planning skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with key internal stakeholders
