We’re seeking an experienced Garment Technician to join this dynamic design and production team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for sportswear and apparel innovation.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll act as the key link between design, development, and production—ensuring all garments meet brand standards for quality, fit, and performance. You’ll oversee sampling, conduct fittings, and collaborate closely with offshore suppliers to bring concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical development process from proto through to bulk production.
- Attend and lead fit sessions, updating and maintaining accurate tech packs and measurement specs.
- Liaise with offshore vendors and factories, ensuring clear communication on fit, construction, and quality standards.
- Approve lab dips, trims, and samples, ensuring consistency across styles.
- Support the design and production teams with technical advice and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in garment construction, fabric performance, and cost efficiency.
About You:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Garment Technician.
- Strong technical knowledge of stretch fabrics, performance materials, and garment construction.
- Confident in using Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple critical paths.
