**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Practice Executive (Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant) to join our team in Brisbane on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Practice Executive you will provide a high level of business support to 3 Partners within our Employment practice. You will assist with the development of comprehensive knowledge of clients, markets and work streams. Some key areas of responsibility will include (but not limited to):

- Practice & Client Management;
- Preparing monthly bills and reconciling expenses;
- Extensive Diary & Travel Management;
- Business Development/Marketing.

Our Practice Executives play a pivotal role within the firm, ensuring that support services to legal staff are delivered appropriately and within a timely manner. You will work closely with, and delegate general administrative tasks to, our dedicated Team Assistants. You will also have the opportunity to mentor, train and guide the Team Assistants where required.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role you will hold the following professional skills and competencies:

- Prior experience within a law firm environment as a Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant.
- High degree of initiative, pro-activity and problem solving skills, with a willingness to take ownership for the completion of tasks/projects and deliver innovative solutions to improve systems or work practices.
- A client focused approach.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong written communication skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to draft correspondence, presentations, pitch documents and slide packs quickly and accurately.
- Resilience, with the ability to thrive in the context of continuous change and effectively work with challenging clients or stakeholders.
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to respectfully manage upwards with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of billing procedures, and working knowledge of Elite 3e/a similar billing system.
- Advanced level skills in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
