APS6 Case Management Officer required for 12M contracy in Perth

**Your new company**

We are partnering with a Federal Government Department who are looking for an APS6 Case Manager to join their National Case Management Branch on a 12-month contract.

**Your new role**

The APS6 Case Manager will be responsible for assisting in the strategic planning, program management and policy development within the branch. The role will see you providing technical operational support and advice to solve complex problems whilst supporting the Departments primary objectives. Some of the main responsibilities of this position are:

- End to end case management activities, undertaking analysis and developing options for early resolutions
- Resolving problems through case management, working alongside partner agency in revieing decisions and outcomes against the relevant act
- Maintain consistent contact with internal and external stakeholders, acting as an authority figure in providing technical, professional, policy and operational support in relation to complex situations
- Attend relevant Case Conference events, Conciliations and Hearings conducted by the partner agency
- Compile resolution documentation in preparation for Case Management meetings

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a Case Management capacity
- Ability to coordinate a team working on a specific project/provide technical oversight for specialist activities
- Experience in implementing work plans and triaging workloads
- Ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance and working with Children's Check
- Eligibility to work for the Federal Government
