**Job Description**:
Due to expansion, we are looking to appoint an **International Sales Manager - Asia **for Australia and New Zealand to add crucial value to our experienced and high preforming team.
This newly created position will see you responsible for increasing revenue into Minor Hotels properties across Australia and New Zealand, focusing on leisure sales and wholesale distribution. In this position, you will draw on your international experience, initiative, drive and strategic approach to target key international source markets that align with Minor Hotels international strategy.
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Strengthen engagement with existing Asian market wholesale partners
- Actively seek out new international business opportunities that will contribute to increased leisure wholesale account production across Minor Hotels properties within Australia & New Zealand
- Attend local and international trade events to increase brand awareness of Minor Hotels
- Work collaboratively with Minor Hotels Commercial Office in China and in-market Global Sales Directors
- Assist with the development, rollout and promotion of market specific initiatives
- Provide market insights and contribute towards contract development, ensuring Minor Hotels rates are competitive and easily accessible
- Provide additional support to the wider sales team when required
**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and qualifications**:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position within the tourism industry, working specifically within Asian markets (China, India, Japan and South Korea)
- Proven experience increasing sales and building business
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Superior attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Availability to travel internationally when required
- Professional presentation and work ethic
