We are seeking an experienced and proven sales and relationship manager to join our team as a Group Sales Manager in our Hardings business. Located in Reservoir and reporting to the General Manager Richard, you will be joining a highly successful and well established business within the building industry supplying a wide range of products enabling our customers to build homes right across Australia.

This position plays an active role internally as a member of the Hardings leadership team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for directly managing and developing a strategic portfolio of customers and managing a number of direct reports. The focus of this role is to build sustainable relationships with existing customers and growing revenue through extension of existing business and new business opportunities.

What you will be doing
- Driving profitable sales growth initiatives
- Analysing account performance and working through solutions and alignment of internal processes
- Contributing to growing the sales revenue by extension of product category participation and new business and market opportunities
- Successful development of strong relationships with existing and prospective major customers
- Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our product solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Account management of National and high value state based customers, ensuring a high level of end to end customer satisfaction

What you will bring
- Great energy and confidence
- High IT competency including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Highly developed communications skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to identify and introduce ideas to enhance and increase customer and service quality
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
- Minimum 5 years’ industry experience in a senior sales management role within the kitchen appliance, front of wall plumbing or associated industries
