This position is responsible for the data analysis and reporting of workforce planning and management with core focus of optimising our labour requirements for our national catering business. The role will provide standard and scenario-based reporting including costing models and forecasts for the business versus budget targets.
**So, what does a day in the life of a Reporting and Modelling Analyst look like?**
Working closely with the Business Unit Managers and the National Workforce Planning team to ensure that all KPIs are being met. The RMA will provide short term and long term planning solutions, review labour trends on previous workforce plans and provide recommendations on how we can improve the efficiency of the business. The RMA will achieve this through collecting and evaluating data, extracting statistical and analytical data from our systems.
**In a nutshell, your main responsibilities are**:
- In depth analysis and evaluation of data sets to create reports
- Using Power BI and Excel to create data models for scenario based
- Build, develop and implement forecasts and capacity management plans
- Review of rostering processes, compare pre and post roster publications against completed rosters to identify trends, recommend changes for cost reduction
- Build and manage business dashboards for WFP
- Utilise our various WFP software tools for reporting including Groundstar, Human Force and Time Target.
- Gather feedback from resourcing teams to meet requirements for each business unit in terms of rostering correct operational coverage, staffing ratios and leave planning
- Develop modelling systems to support the Analytics team in decision making
**What do you need to be successful in securing this role?**
- Five years demonstrated success in a similar role.
- Experience in volume data analysis and scheduling/forecasting metrics
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, WFP or related discipline.
- Exposure to Business Intelligence, Reporting and Dashboards
- Experience using Power BI for complex modelling and forecasting
- Experience in Advanced Excel modelling and reporting (SQL and Dbase query)
- Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders
- Aviation or Food Manufacturing knowledge / experience preferable but not essential.
- Highly analytical and numerical aptitude with strong problem solving skills
- Mature reasoning and approach to complex tasks
