**Job Description**:
What is the role?

The Development Operations role is key to maturing development teams and their processes. We are looking for someone that is motivated and willing to work on enhancing and supporting existing development pipelines as well as enabling new capability for existing teams. In the role you will supporting multiple teams across the Data Engineering function. Data Engineering is responsible for pioneering innovative data solutions that engineer the trusted data that powers every product and service across CoreLogic Australia and New Zealand. The role involves working with source control, continuous integration and continuous deployment tools. You will be collaborating with multiple teams across the business to ensure stakeholder expectations are met.

What will you be doing?
- Mature Development Pipelines
- Support the data engineering function within a new data platform
- Help automate development and infrastructure pipelines to assist with releasing new platform capability to production
- Working with resources across the business to develop local processes for a global platform
- Ensure documentation and assets is kept up to date and coherent
- Assisting teams with adopting development standards and alignment of existing processes into these standards

Job Qualifications:
Are you the right fit?

You need to have:

- Desire to develop data platforms and automate
- Formal training in Software Development is an advantage, though not a requirement
- The ability to communicate and work with team members on a technical and non-technical level
- Problem solving skills and the ability to communicate how and why a solution is correct
- The ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of the team
- A willingness to work with both familiar and new technologies to drive the right customer solution
- Excellent ability to communicate and work with technical and non-technical people
- Strong problem solving skills
- Exceptional skills in partnering with clients/ staff and in developing and maintaining long term supportive relationships
- Assist with the delivery of solutions end to end and ensuring customer outcomes are delivered
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing, collaborative team member

What credentials do you need?

Your work should show that you are skilled or can quickly become skilled in:

- Cloud technologies (GCP and AWS)
- DevOps Engineering Experience (Gitlab, Github)
- Scripting Experience (including python and bash)
- Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
