**Role Description**
The Rostering Officer, reporting to the Facility Manager, is responsible for providing day to day operational staffing and roster management to ensure continuity and consistency for participants and support staff using the Shiftcare Software System.
Being a qualified Cert III Disability Support Worker is highly recommended and favourable, with the ability to pick up vacant shifts where available.
The business has 30 staff, (and growing), that need to be rostered on a regular basis, across 8 rosters. These numbers will change as the business grows and Participants come and go.
**Role Responsibilities**
Ensure that rosters are consistently staffed to a high-level and manage daily roster
variations using the Shiftcare software system.
Be the company Shiftcare champion and guide other employees in the system as required.
This role operates across a 7-day roster with some weekend work and overtime may
be required
- Flexible work arrangements possible
- Ensure allocated shifts are in accordance with individual contracted hours,
- Monitor staff restrictions to ensure compliance,
- Ensure that rostering guidelines, payroll, and HR processes are adhered to,
- Liaise with staff on rostering and payroll queries
**Key Attributes**
Demonstrated experience and understanding of rostering and the scheduling processes using Shiftcare
- Experienced in supporting staffing and associated HR requirements,
- Excellent knowledge of Shiftcare Rostering is essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
- Knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2020 (SCHADS)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in a highly productive, fast paced environment
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed computer literacy
- Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Cert III qualified Disability Support Worker highly favourable
**Qualifications and Checks**
- Current NDIS Worker Check.
**Salary**
Negotiable, starting from $35 per hour + superannuation with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
The role is currently for a temp 3 month contract with availability to become full time if desired, as the business grows across multiple locations.
