**Your new role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Insurance Claims, the Insurance Claims Specialist will ensure that outsourced serviceproviders meet theirperformance obligations under their respective contract and service level agreement - in accordance with the Fund’sThird-Party Management Framework, Quality Framework, Policies and Standards.

Some key responsibilities but not limited to;
- Support the operational oversight of insurance claimsmanaged by our Administrator and Insurer and represent the Insurance Claimsteam as a key contactfor internal and external stakeholders to liaise with on insurance claims matters
- Lead the review of the operational claims reporting providedby the Fund’s Administrator and Insurers to ensure it provides valid, reliable, and consistent quantitative and qualitative insights
- Recommend, raise, agree to, and monitoraction plans with the Administrator and Insurer to ensure compliance with claims management agreements/practices
- Use data and work with stakeholders to identify risks,issues, and opportunities, and present this information in a concise, meaningful way to strive for best practice claims management
- Report and resolve insurance related breaches and incidents, including any preventative actions to assist with managing risk
- Maintain reportingschedule for reportingto various internalcommittees and management groups
- Support the review of insurance claimsprocesses to identify, communicate and assistto implement, opportunities for improvements, includingany communication or business rule changes
- Maintain and develop relateddocumentation, processes, protocols, and procedures for consistent oversight and reporting

**What you’ll need**
- 5 years+relevant experience in a similarrole (with an administrator or in superannuation insurance, preferably group claims)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to proofread
- RG146 accreditation desirable
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to work autonomously
- Meticulous attention to detail and drive to deliver excellent outcomes
