**Your new role**

In this 6 month contract you will play a key support role in the Insurance Claims team by efficiently meeting the Insurance Claims team service deliverables and supporting the evolution of the Insurance Claims team operating model with its key partners. This will be done through supporting the operational management of claims by our outsourced service providers and representing the Insurance Claims team as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders to liaise with on claims matters.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

- Support the team in responding to internal and external insurance claim queries and complaints so that insurance claims matters are processed efficiently.
- Review and decision terminal illness and permanent incapacity release recommendations so that claims are handled efficiently and accurately for our Members.
- Support the review and decisioning of death claim distribution recommendations so that claims are handled efficiently and accurately for our Members and their families.
- Support the administrative aspects of the Insurance Claims Committee meeting, EG. Organise meetings prepare minutes and reporting papers so the ICC runs effectively.
- Maintain and develop related documentation, processes, protocols, and procedures for consistent oversight and reporting.
- Recommend, raise, agree to and monitor action plans with the Administrator and Insurers (as required).

**What you’ll need**
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role (with an administrator or in superannuation insurance, preferably group claims)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to proofread, spelling & English grammar skills.
- Advanced use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- RG146 desirable
