We are actively seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our thriving Melbourne team

**About Us**:
MaxCap Group is one of Australia’s leading commercial real estate debt and investment specialists. We deliver investment management and loan origination services to our capital partners including superannuation, sovereign fund and institutional investment, as well as to high-net-worth individuals and family offices across the globe.

**The Role**:
This position is responsible for financial accounting for MaxCap Group.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities include:

- Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment preparation
- Prepare sales invoices & complete accounts receivable duties including: monitoring and following up on outstanding balances where required.
- Record corporate credit card & employee expense claims
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts daily as directed
- Maintain financial records for SPV’s & preparation of SPV BAS returns
- Assist with month end reporting and all associated tasks

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent in a relevant field
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to plan effectively and take accountability for delivering results

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPA (preferred)
- CA (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
