Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of secured conference business from compilation of event orders through to on site management of the events and appropriate after function follow up. Your responsibilities will include the maintenance of conference database of key contacts and clients, preparation and follow up of proposals, provide assistance in the formulation of quotations for conference proposals, attend and actively participate in weekly Banquet Event Order meetings. This position will involve working closely with the client to understand their needs and coordinate with internal departments and oversee event co ordination to create a seamless and memorable event.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a hotel environment or similar
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Detail orientated
- Ability to handle high pressure situations
- A high standard of personal presentation
