TheDriveGroup has engaged with a long-term client of ours to help build a new team from scratch.

They are a tech-driven company and due to growth and a new Digital Transformation journey, they are looking for a hands-on
**Technical Lead**

They are well-known in Australia for hiring very talented developers, so you will be surrounded by some very smart minds and high-level tech talent

As the Technical Lead you will help build the team, manage the output of your new squad, make sure the project is delivered on time, and also ensure things are done the right way following best practices, clean code, and a team emphasis on high code coverage, testing and SOLID Principles.

They also offer great career progression and training, and it is common for Tech Leads to progress into Engineering Manager roles here.

The business also offers excellent work/life balance with flexible work hours, and allow work from home with only a few meetings in their Sydney CBD office as and when required.

The role will start as a 6 month rolling contract on a day rate - with the view to extend or move perm if you wish. They have a pipeline of work for 2+ years.

**Tech / Experience Required**:

- C#.Net Core
- Microservices
- API Development
- Cloud - Azure / CosmosDB etc
- SQL Server
- Unit Testing / TDD
- CI/CD
- SOLID Principles
- Agile
- Team Player
- Perfect Communication Skills

**Bonus Skills**:

- Event-driven Architecture
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Node.js, React.js or Angular
- Digital Transformation Experience
- Proven track record as a Technical Lead

Ideally, you have experience as a tech lead or mentoring junior developers - but they are potentially open to a strong Senior Engineer stepping into their first 'Tech Lead' titled role if you have the ability.

The start date is ASAP with the project kicking off in March.
