Technical Lead, Shareholder

**The role**

In this role, you will represent Origin as a shareholder in APLNG on technical matters that are material to the APLNG business. The scope of this role covers both the Downstream Operator (i.e. LNG plant operations) and the Upstream Operator (i.e. CSG exploration, development and operations). You will review, analyse, and provide feedback on operational performance, improvement plans, project proposals and other technical strategies, and influence outcomes when required.

Specifically, this role will:

- Critically analyse Downstream Operator and Upstream Operator performance and proposals to ensure Origin shareholder interests are upheld.
- Assist with Origin’s strategy as relates to its shareholding in APLNG and seek to influence APLNG strategy on key technical matters impacting APLNG.
- Prepare recommendations for Origin’s representatives on the APLNG Board and Board Sub-Committees and contribute to Origin management briefings on key APLNG decisions related to technical matters.
- Represent Origin shareholder at various APLNG shareholder committees/working groups through active participation and feedback.
- Engage with, and coordinate input from Origin SMEs on material APLNG matters.
- Provide technical expertise and input into, and seek to influence, APLNG’s strategy on regulatory matters.
- Identify and manage any technical risks and opportunities relating to Origin’s shareholding in APLNG.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will come with exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence and deliver beneficial outcomes.

MORE ABOUT YOU:

- Engineering degree qualified
- Sound technical expertise gained working in either production, reservoir or surface engineering roles within CSG or LNG
- Track record analysing operational performance
- Experience working with joint ventures and providing sound technical and engineering advice.
