Talent International is searching for experienced Technical Lead a leading logistics company based in Fortitude Valley on a 6-month contract.

**About the Role**:
As a technical lead, you will be responsible for a team of developers that are designing, developing, and implementing maintainable solutions in both the front-end and back-end stacks. This is a hands-on role, requiring you to spend a portion of your time in development activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with all team members, including product owners, testers, and fellow developers to align on project requirements and deliverables within an agile fashion.
- Take ownership for your technical solution, by drafting relevant Decision Registers (DRs) and technical documentation in accordance with the C4 model.
- Develop backend APIs and frontend components in accordance with the outlined development standards and best practices.
- Performing relevant unit, integration, and performance testing as per the project requirements and standards.
- Participation in relevant knowledge sharing activities, including showcases, lunch & learns and innovation days.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to your development team, assisting them in solving complex technical challenges.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality software.
- Working collaboratively with the leader of core development services to define the technical roadmap and evaluate and adopt new technologies.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a full stack developer in a large and complex information technology organisation.
- Experience as a technical lead in an enterprise level environment.
- Experience guiding other developers including offshore resources, working in a collaborative environment.
- Commercial experience in developing in C# within the.Net stack.
- Strong working knowledge of SPA frameworks, bonus points for enterprise level VueJS experience.
- Knowledge and practical experience with a variety of database technologies with a focus on SQL Server.
- Experience with git version control such as GitHub.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, think critically, and develop innovative solutions.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools as required by the project.
- Interest and/or experience with DDD, Microservices, REST.
- Leading and managing development teams, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Ideal:

- Good exposure to opensource tooling.
- Azure Cloud experience including AKS, ServiceBus, Azure SQL PaaS etc.
- Ability to think through complex problems and find pragmatic and elegant solutions.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum based).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices, and the ability to guide the team in making sound architectural decisions.
