**About the opportunity**:
Key worker is a stepping stone towards becoming a House Supervisor and a great opportunity to learn the ropes. Your work will support people to achieve their individual lifestyle goals, and as we support people of all ages and interests, each workday will be different and innovative.

**In this role your duties will include**:

- Undertake and exercise responsibility for various delegated activities within a residential accommodation, a group program or any other similar setting
- Providing secretarial and/or administrative support requiring a high degree of judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity in the performance of work; including but not limited to booking team meetings, taking notes, circulating meeting minutes, meeting care team, family, etc.
- Providing a range of records management services including expense receipts, meeting minutes, client paperwork, medical paperwork, appointment papers and care forms
- Proficiency in the operation of the all digital programs used for client care and record keeping. This will also include identifying root problems and maintaining system security/integrity
- A basic knowledge of the principles of human resource management and assist other staff or volunteers with on-the-job training.
- Supervising employees or volunteers within the residential house, group program or other similar setting
- Developing and delivering single training programs for the team
- Providing assistance to senior employees as required
- Planing and co-ordinate elementary community-based projects or programs;
- Performing moderately complex functions including social planning, demographic analysis, survey design and analysis
- Taking overall responsibility for the personal care of residents; training, co-ordinating and supervising other employees and scheduling work programmes; and assisting in liaison and co-ordination with other services and programmes.
- Working closely with with the House Supervisor to produce fortnightly reports and escalate HR issues as required
- Checking and maintaining inventory lists for all consumables and household assets, including preparing meal plans and household grocery shopping.

Possess a current Working with Children's Check (Employee), NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance, Current First Aid & CPR Certificate, Driver’s License & your own car and a Certificate III or above in one of the following or equivalent: Individual Support/ Home & Community Care/ Aged Care/ Disability/ Nursing
