**Position Overview**:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal goals, fostering independence, and ensuring their well-being. You will provide support in daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement, working closely with individuals to create a positive and enriching environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities (e.g., dressing, bathing, grooming).
- Assist with meal preparation, medication management, and mobility support.
- Foster positive relationships with clients to promote social, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Encourage and assist clients in participating in recreational and community activities.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other health professionals.
- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of client activities, progress, and any incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
- Provide respite care as required to ensure families are supported.

**Key Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field.
- Previous experience in a disability support role is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with people with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work independently, showing initiative and empathy.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
