**The company**:
AWM Electrical & Data Suppliers is a market leader in the supply and distribution of electrical and lighting products with a national network. Our Sales location is looking for an engaging and motivated team player to join their growing Internal Sales Team. Our parent company, Metal Manufactures Limited, established in 1916, has become a large and diverse Australian company, with AWM Electrical & Data Suppliers as a vital part.

AWM Electrical rewards its staff through a generous profit-share scheme and great career progression opportunities. This is a permanent role with full time hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and a Saturday 8am - 12pm every 6 weeks.

**The role**:

- Respond to general customer enquiries regarding pricing and product information.
- Process orders, purchase stock and assist with customer consignment.
- Actively stay connected with customers and build strong, long-term working relationships.
- Stock control as required, including assisting with re-stocking shelves and packing orders.

**The requirements**:

- Sales/Customer Service background in trades/services, electrical supplier experience preferred. Electricians looking to make a move are encouraged to apply.
- A passion for customer service and sales.
- A confident engaging personality with a some sales / customer service experience.
- An engaging communication style - and enjoy speaking to others.
- The ability to identify and action opportunities for making additional sales.
- Great rapport and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and an aptitude for numbers.
- The ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights as sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
