Aqua Wash Technologies is an Australian owned and operated company specialising in the service, repair and replacement of commercial glasswashers and dishwashers. We are Australian’s number one choice when it comes to the maintenance of commercial dishwashers and offer clients industry specific solutions and advice to help keep them ahead of the game.

We currently have a position available for a qualified and experienced Service Technician to join our team. We are looking for a well-presented, friendly and effective communicator to attend and handle client bookings in the hospitality, education, childcare, aged care and government sectors. The role is varied and includes teamwork, installation, maintenance and repair work with ongoing training provided.

Key responsibilities include:

- Attending to repairs and service requirements of a range of clients across metropolitan Melbourne;
- Liaison with each client to establish rapport and to ascertain the possible fault on the equipmentconcerned;
- Providing quality technical repairs, service and installation of commercialdishwashers/glasswashers;
- Providing quality installations of automatic detergent dispensing to commercial dishwashers;
- Carrying out preventative maintenance as required;
- Providing an appropriate explanation and recommendation of repair options and gaining client’s agreement;
- Identifying and documenting any potential hazards and risks the service and repair will create for others under the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004;
- Keying simPRO service reports onto an iPad and recording all relevant information;
- Completing invoice procedures on an iPad using simPRO;
- Repairing, quoting and following up on all incomplete jobs;
- Maintaining work van in a professional manner fully stocked, clean and well presented at all times;
- Ensuring that each client receives quality service and advice;
- Presenting oneself with a courteous and friendlydisposition; and
- Attending regular “tool box” staff meetings.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Relevant qualifications (equivalent of AQF Certificate III) in a relevant field;
- At least 2 years of industry experience working in a service capacity;
- Current Victorian drivers licence;
- Good verbal and literacy skills;
- Computer literate;
- A technical aptitude demonstrated through previous work experience;
- Working knowledge of pumps;
- Previous experience in mechanical fault finding;
- Working knowledge of basic operations of electromechanical components and machinery;
- Excellent time management skills; and
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team.

Job details:
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
