The main responsibilities of the Technical Delivery Manager is to provide assistance to a range of projects within Governance, Cyber and Policy, and Information and Technologies Branch.
- Large and complex Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory implementations AND/OR
- Large Identity, Access Management and Authorisation technology implementations
- Powershell
- Any Microsoft.NET language
- Tcl (TCL) as used with F5 iRules
- T-SQL (Microsoft Transact SQL_
- Azure services (SQL, PaaS, IaaS, Express Route, AAD
- Office O365 related services and products (Dynamics 365, Teams, Power Platform etc)

Experience with any Microsoft on-premises technologies would be an advantage (Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM etc)

The key tasks to be performed are:

- Leads and contributes the development of designs in specific infrastructure or functional areas. Ensures that appropriate tools and methods are available, understood and employed in architecture development
- Within a change programme, leads the preparation of technical plans, their delivery and, in liaison with operational areas and project staff, ensures that appropriate technical resources are made available and validated
- Provides advice on technical aspects of solution development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) are applied correctly
- Values specialist expertise and capitalises on the knowledge and skills of others within the organisation. Contributes own expertise to achieve outcomes for the business unit
- Builds and sustains positive relationship with team members, stakeholders and clients and is responsive to changes in client and stakeholder needs and expectations
- Confidently presents messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner. Focuses on key points and uses appropriate, unambiguous language. Selects the most appropriate medium for conveying information and structures written and oral communication to ensure clarity
