Ayan Infotech has an urgent and immediate requirement for a **Windows and VMware SME** **for a long term contract job opportunity in Sydney.

**Title: Windows and VMware SME**
**Location: Sydney**
**Type: Contract (6 months +)**

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 8 years of overall experience in Windows server and VMware management.
- Exceptional understanding of DNS, Fileserver, RDP Gateway, Print management, KMS
- Windows Cluster Administration / Configuration / Troubleshooting
- Wintel OS (2012, 2016 & 2019 Administration / Configuration / Troubleshooting
- Able to independently plan, design and execute (complex) changes
- Vulnerabilities and Windows patching process / procedure and Troubleshooting
- Physical OEMs hardware (DELL ) Administration / Configuration / Troubleshooting
- Server Monitoring tools and reporting
- Root Cause & System Log Analysis and reporting.
- Managing Active Directory related operations and daily task of monitoring and checking replication.
- Creating Backup Policies in Symantec NetBackup and restoring the files from backup.
- Netapp NAS understanding will be added advantage
- Windows Certificate Authority server Administration /Configuration /Troubleshooting
- Migrations and Upgrades of VMware Products
- Managing Backups and Restore along with understanding of VMware Snapshots and Disk Consolidations.
- Performance tuning of VMware Servers and Virtual Sessions and management of servers resources between Virtual Machines.
- Strong experience in VMWare vCenter 6.7 and higher, VMWare ESX Host, Cluster, and Data stores, VMWare LogInsights & vROPs, VMWare vCenter API Management and VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Strong experience in VxRail and VxRail Manager and vSAN, VMware HCX and Good hands on experience in command line of ESX.
- Strong experience with VMWare 6.7+ and Managing and troubleshooting skills in VMWare ESXi Server Infrastructure.
- Should have working experience and technical acumen in understanding VMWare vCenter Architecture and all the sub components inclusive of ESX Hosts, Clusters, Data stores, and etc.
- Good to have working knowledge of VCF on VxRail, SDDC, Azure, AVS
- Experience in ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request)
- Experience in supporting DR tests
