**About the role**:
We’re looking for an exceptional **Training Manager** to join our team, as part of a brand-new Automated Distribution Centre.
This is an incredible opportunity to be involved in the commissioning of our second Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) which will use world-class technology to modernise our Supply Chain. Epic in scale and design, our new facility represents the future of logistics.
As Training Manager, you will work closely with site leadership and multiple key stakeholders to organise, schedule, facilitate and deliver the ADC Training Plan.
Primary duties include:
- Lead the mandatory compliance training programs, including the induction and onboarding processes for all new team members
- Look ahead to continuously build the capability of the ADC and enable team members to be safe and successful in their roles
- Ensure all team members training records are accurate and up to date and proactively identify any additional training the team can undertake to drive operating improvements
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure all corporate initiatives are successfully implemented at the ADC
- Foster and maintain a working environment conducive to operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensure the ADC is maintaining the highest level of safe working practices
**About you and your skills**:
We are seeking someone with demonstrated resilience in a fast-paced environment. You will have the ability to prioritise, delegate and be adaptable to change. You'll be invested in creating a great workplace culture that fosters growth and development.
You’ll also:
- Completed Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
- Tertiary qualification in Training, Business, Logistics Management or similar desirable
- Knowledge of information systems development, testing principles, project methodologies and practices
- Proven experience in developing implementing and facilitating training and safety systems
- An understanding of process optimisation and system implementation ideally in a logistics, automated distribution facility or manufacturing environment
- Experience of implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Clear communication and incident reporting experience
