As a Transport QHSE Manager, you will ensure the effective implementation and management of quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures within the transportation department. You will be involved in developing and maintaining a culture of safety and environmental responsibility while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

**What you will be responsible for**:

- Create and implement strategies and objectives for QHSE management in transportation operations.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations and standards related to transport safety and environmental compliance. Ensure the organization's operations comply with these regulations.
- Identify and assess potential risks within the transportation operations, including safety hazards, environmental impacts, and quality control issues.
- Develop risk management plans and procedures to mitigate identified risks and monitor their implementation.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety protocols, quality control measures, and environmental compliance procedures
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses within the transportation operations. Prepare and submit incident reports.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of transportation facilities, equipment, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with QHSE standards. Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for transportation operations. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective response and recovery in case of emergencies, such as accidents, natural disasters, or hazardous material spills.
- Managing the inbound/outbound transfers of pallets
- Reporting and presentation on space utilization
- Promote sigma practices in the organization

**About You**:

- Proven experience in QHSE management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of local and international QHSE regulations and standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to lead and motivate teams and foster a culture of safety and compliance
- Experience of transport management
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage documentation and records
