As the Finance Anaylst, you will support the Finance Manager in the management of the end-to-end processes of the annual budget, month end reconciliation and variance analysis, financial assurance and controls, reporting deliverables and responsibilities for the division.
What you'll do
Coordinate the month end reporting for the division (Accruals and Prepayments).
Coordinate branch specific funding reconciliations and acquittals.
Assist with the consolidation of all internal and external reporting requirements for the division (Financial Controls, Delegations, and Annual Financial Statements).
Assist with the review of the general ledger to ensure compliance with correct accounting practices.
Using sound accounting knowledge, assist the Finance Manager with the critical review of month end entries and reporting to ensure accurate and timely reports are achieved.
Coordinate and review access to the divisions financial systems and network drives.
Provide management reports to aid in the decision-making processes.
Maintain and update the alternative cost centre hierarchy and other reporting tools used internally by the division.
About you

Demonstrated experience in financial accounting analysis and budget preparation per financial management practices.
Experience in identifying financial improvements which enhance service delivery.
Ability to collaborate broadly with effective communication & consultative skills.
