Fortifi Financeare seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating with a team, professional growth, and takes pride in delivering accurate and successful outcomes for our clients. In this client facing role you'll be responsible for reconciling source documents, identifying information gaps, interpreting data and ensuring seamless processes, all while working alongside a supportive team that values excellence, efficiency, and strong interpersonal relationships.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Identify and mitigate key issues to be workshopped with lenders.
• Build group cashflows (extraction of tax returns and financial statements)
• Build detailed statement of positions and group structures – entity key roles within a group from company searches and trust deeds
• Present scenarios to lenders with supporting documents.
• Liaise with lenders on queries regarding discussion papers.
• Summarise outcomes of lender discussion to build client recommendations.
• Write client requirements and recommendations for compliance documents.
• Assist in the production and presentation of compliance and application forms to clients.
• Submission of loan applications to lenders.
• Follow up with lenders through application and settlement processes.
• Handling of loan offer documents.
• Ensure post settlement file compliance tasks are completed.
• Communication with clients throughout loan origination process with updates and additional information requests.
• Ongoing management and reprice of back book.
• Assist in the building and documentation of an end-to-end loan process for self-employed, private and commercial clients.
• Contribute to refining and documentation of existing simple PAYG and Self-Employed origination process.

Experience & attributes:

• Expeirence with Mortgage Broking CRM's and aggregation tools
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IT applications
• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or willing to complete within a prescribed timeframe)
• Proficiency in data entry and computer operation
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines (problem solving)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Great written & verbal communication skills with business partners and clients
• Ability to work efficiently in a high pressure and volume environment
