Hays Technology are currently partnered with a large health organisation located in **Geelong CBD, Victoria.**
We are seeking to appoint a **Testing Analyst** to join organisation’s ICT Program Delivery team. This role will be for an **initial 6 month contract with a potential extension.**

**Your new role**
Reporting to Test/Program Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating end to end testing life cycle of all ICT solutions delivered in the transformation program.
You will be responsible for:

- Reviewing and gaining an understanding of requirements and expected outcomes with stakeholders.
- Initiating test planning including test case structure and design in collaboration with testers and stakeholders and with full traceability back to the requirements.
- Defining testing criteria and ensure that entry and exit criteria for each phase of testing is met.
- Monitoring progress of testing cycles including lodged observations and defects.
- Providing ongoing communication with the testing team and Project Manager on testing progress and issues.
- Providing status reporting on testing progress including forward planning of effort, testing risks and issues, statistics on executed test cases and lodged observations and defects
- Contributing to test case design and test plans including test cycles.
- Providing hands on support for testing execution.
- Reporting on any issues or risks with testing efforts, testing approach, or test case design.
- Participating in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential risks or problems.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in analysing solution documents and business requirements in order to create test scenarios and test cases.
- Demonstrated experience in user acceptance testing (minimum 3-5 years).
- Promoting the use of agile principles, practices or frameworks.
- Analysing acceptance criteria, user stories, technical designs and wireframe/solution designs.
- Creating test scenarios, test cases, test data and defects.
- Investigate and triage defects raised by business users during UAT.
- Strong experience in JIRA, Confluence and automation tools.
- Prioritise own workload according to the milestones set by the Test Manager
- Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills.
- Government organisation experience is highly desirable
