**About the Role**

The Payroll Officer is an important team member of the finance team. This role will be responsible for delivering the fortnightly payment of salaries, wages and other payroll related functions, to all employees. Processing bonuses, ad hoc pay runs, and compliance with legislative requirements. Responding to payroll and employment queries across all levels of the business. Managing leave entitlements including Long Service Leave. Workcover reporting will also form part of the role. **The role is a Part-Time role with up to 16 hours per week.**

**Selection Criteria**

In order to be successful for this opportunity, you will bring:

- **3+ years’ experience in a payroll officer role**:

- Familiarity with MYOB AccountRight and Deputy are essential
- Knowledge of Awards and Fair Work legislation
- Experience with Payroll Tax & Superannuation.
- High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritize deadlines, manage complex tasks, and work autonomously
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with all levels of the business
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with ERP systems (such as MYOB EXO) is desired but not essential.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $35.42 - $40.48 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
