The Leaders Institute of South Australia is a dynamic not-for-profit_ _organisation committed to developing a stronger, healthier and more prosperous South Australia by developing impactful leaders_. _Focussing on holistic leadership development to foster future leaders, its innovative programs including the Governor’s Leadership Foundation program, expand the capacity and performance of individuals and teams at all levels working with both emerging and established leaders across private enterprise, government and community organisations.

The Institute’s experienced Board comprises a select group of leaders (and alumni) from public, private and not-for-profit organisations who are committed to steering and supporting the organisation to build great leaders for our State.

An opportunity exists to appoint a new Board Member to the role of Treasurer. With a focus on strategic and financial governance, the Treasurer will Chair the Audit and Risk Committee and work with the CEO to provide assurance over the financial operation of the organisation. The institute is in a sound financial position with unqualified audits over many years and this is not a hands-on role.

Applications are sought from experienced finance professionals with CA/CPA and ideally AICD qualifications. Previous Board experience or exposure to Boards will be highly regarded as will a genuine affinity with the purpose, vision and values of the Institute complimented by warmth, authenticity, empathy and commercial acumen.

This is an ideal opportunity to join the experienced Board of a highly regarded purpose-based leadership development entity and contribute to advancing the leadership capability of South Australia.
