**About Us**

SASS Quality Support Services play an essential role in the delivery of quality support services to people living with disabilities in the Bendigo and Melbourne communities, helping them to achieve their goals and live their best life.

**The Role**

We are seeking experienced and passionate individuals to join our 24/7 team as Disability Support Workers at our supported residential service facility, located in Bendigo. You will form part of a team to help care for one resident around the clock. The positions are being offered on a casual basis.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**

(but not limited to):

- Daily living assistance include showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Emotionally support residents by engaging in conversations and actively listening to their concerns
- Collaborate with other support staff/managers to exchange advice and best practices

**Qualifications**
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

**Experience**
- 1-3 years experience in similar role

**Additional Requirements**
- A current driver's licence
- National Police Check (issued within last 6 months)
- Working with Children Check (Employer)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- CPR & First Aid

Pay: $33.96 - $43.08 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
