**About the Role**
We are looking for a Communications professional to join our growing team to:
- Create engaging content and clear messaging suitable to the audience.
- Develop communications specifically for staff and the individuals and families we support.
- Create and manage content that engages, educates and inspires an audience.
- Coordinate the implementation of the priorities outlined in the Organisational Marketing and Communications Plan.
- Draft content for key materials including blogs, website content, brochures and collateral, newsletters, and general content for a range of platforms and publications.
- Manage our staff intranet platform to ensure consistent updates and branding and communications requirements are met.
- Proactively unearth stories, write media releases and promote editorial content across traditional, digital and social media platforms.
- Establish close relations with relevant media and draft media releases.
- Align content to organisation writing and brand style guides.
**About You**
We’re looking for a communications specialist who is a creative thinker and has:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations, communication, media studies or journalism.
- A keen eye for detail and highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently.
- Experience managing communications within an organisation and developing internal and external communications.
- Experience providing specialist advice and support to internal key stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Campaign Monitor, Adobe Creative Cloud, Wordpress and other related programs.
- A passion for working with individuals with Autism and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
