**About the role**
Are you prepared to lead the charge in revolutionising the insurance industry with cutting-edge technology and agile practices? Look no further We're in search of an Agile Transformation Manager to guide our journey toward software delivery excellence and innovation.

As the Agile Transformation Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving change and fostering continuous improvement within our technology team. Serving as the catalyst for uplifting agile capability and standardising practices, you'll enhance cross-team collaboration and empower diverse groups to collaborate, innovate, and optimise processes. Your leadership ensures efficiency, eliminates bottlenecks, and accelerates the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key priorities will include:
- Gain a deep understanding of Youi’s goals, challenges, and culture for optimal performance.
- Define measurable goals for Youi’s Ways of Working, ensuring transparent communication of progress and results.
- Advocate for customer-centricity, adaptability, continuous improvement, and responsiveness throughout the organisation.
- Educate IT teams, stakeholders, and leaders on agile principles, promoting ownership and effective decision-making.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
- Develop and execute a robust change management plan, fostering adoption through clear communication and collaboration.
- Empower high-performing teams through coaching and mentoring.
- Collaborate with software engineering to optimise delivery processes, implementing best practices for productivity, quality, and speed.
- Determine standardised practices and tooling with the software engineering team, striking the balance between autonomy and efficiency.
- Identify relevant metrics, monitor sprint velocity, lead time, and customer feedback for ongoing enhancements.
- Embrace Servant Leadership, prioritising team and organisational needs for growth aligned with our ways of working.
- Encourage shared decision-making, valuing diverse perspectives in important choices.
- Nurture team ownership with resources and support, enabling autonomous decision-making.
- Lead by example, embody agile principles, and cultivate a culture of trust, transparency, and continuous improvement.
**About you**
You will:
- Have a formal qualification(s) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Satisfy ASIC’s definition of “Fit and Proper Person” compliance obligations.
- Have proven experience in successfully leading and driving agile ways of working improvements within large organisation
- Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of agile principles, values, and frameworks, with the ability to tailor agile practices to suit the specific needs and culture of the organisation
- Have excellent coaching and facilitation skills, enabling effective collaboration and empowerment of self-organising teams.
- Be able to articulate your leadership qualities when it comes to inspiring and motivating teams to embrace agile ways of working and championing a culture of innovation and adaptability.
- Be proficient in measuring and analysing agile performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
