Role Title: Digital Officer & Media and Communications Officer
Rate: $40 - $45 per hour
Location: Cessnock
Hours: 35 hours per week

**Your new company**
You will be working with a local government agency based in Cessnock. This role will be a split between the two roles, Digital Officer & Media, and Communications Officer.

**Your new role**
Digital Officer
- Managing digital activities for website including writing, editing and publishing content, designing page layouts.
- Streamlining site navigation
- Integrating web content with social media profiles.

Media & Communication Officer
- Day to day media management strategies and develop proactive media strategies to support and help deliver core business objectives.
- Source, coordinate, design, produce, write and/or edit content for corporate publications, newsletters, advertising, Intranet/internet and social media content.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working as a Digital Officer or in Media and Communications.
- A degree in digital media, communications, marketing, or PR.
- Confident in communicating with all levels of the organisation
- Proven experience in creative writing and social media content creation.
- Experience in website content management and creation.
- Experience using adobe creative suite.
