**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will report to the General Manager, Fundraising and Marketing in this newly created pivotal high impact position. PCYC’s relationships in the community are unique, widespread, and significant. You will create and lead the philanthropic strategy, forming strong external relationships that support PCYC NSW to achieve even greater levels of impactful across our mission outcomes. A key focus will be the development and retention of new key partners to support PCYC.  You will maximise engagement and fundraising opportunities, build long-term mutually beneficial relationships; including but not limited to donations, sponsorship, cause related marketing and workplace Giving (WPG). You will a work closely with the Marketing and Fundraising teams.  Being responsible and accountable for profitable, sustainable growth, you will have autonomy to pursue executive engagement with strategic partners and be expected to exceed engagement and target measures.

**ABOUT US**

Established in 1937, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and 21 OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.

Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs.

We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.

**ABOUT YOU**

You are a senior strategic partner, with core skills and experience in business development and relationship management, fundraising in which you have proven success in driving and maintaining support and exceeding targets. Your ability to communicate extremely well with senior level corporate partners and drive enhancements to the partnership management experience is essential. Strong commercial acumen is a key skill and critical to your success, as will be your exceptional communication skills and ability to transform strategy into action, making and measuring real impact.

You will identify partnerships and develop the prospect pipeline, and pitch and win new partnerships to identify and secure new creative revenue opportunities, and manage our important existing partnerships.

You will have:

- A proven track record and success in identifying and developing high level strategic partnerships and retaining relationships and account management
- A passion for exceeding goals and outcomes, strong results focus
- Strong commercial acumen, and experience in developing and structuring business agreements
- Proven experience executing plans and establishing, developing, and retaining new strategic partnerships
- The drive to think differently and explore new opportunities that support sustainable growth
- Strong planning, financial, business acumen, analytical skills
- A strong alignment to the PCYC NSW behaviours and values - Resilience, Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Citizenship
