Build & Maintain the Partner Revenue Pipeline

This new role is with one of Australia's leading online travel insurers. The business is enjoying unprecedented growth with revenues exceeding pre-Covid levels.
As a result, there is an immediate need to hire an experienced Partnerships Development Manager to build and maintain an affiliate partnership pipeline for new and existing products and services. Examples of existing partners are businesses from the travel and general insurance industries, member based bodies, comparison sites, etc. but, in theory, could be any type of business with a large database of customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To identify new online affiliate opportunities
- To deliver gross sales at agreed corporate margin via a variety of sectors/prospects/channels
- Recommend sectors and prospect marketing requirements in liaison with key internal departments in terms of strategy, marketing communication and product.
- Deliver commercial propositions and customer relationships, agreeing appropriate operational solutions and gaining internal sign-off for proposals.
- In conjunction with sales management, build and maintain a balanced sales/affiliate partnership pipeline for all new and existing products and services to agreed targets.
- Deliver a target percentage of customer-facing time.
- To develop and deliver annual budgets, re-forecasting and updating the business as agreed and with support of the manager.
- Maintain knowledge of current market behaviour and competitor activity.
- Produce and provide meaningful and regular reports for management
- Comply with all regulatory procedures applicable to the role.
**Key Performance Indicators**:
- Gross Sales and Margin for designated business prospects/sectors.
- Sales pipeline.
- Sales objectives met.
- Demonstrate compliance with all regulatory procedures applicable to the role.
- Passionate, energetic & innovative commercial developer (out the box thinker)
- Knowledge of the online affiliate space is desirable
- A broad understanding of the digital landscape and how to best structure digital distribution partnerships
- Travel and or Travel Insurance knowledge is desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a professional approach and the ability to quickly develop credible working relationships internally and externally
- Effective influencing & communication skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills - The ability to spot gaps/opportunities in the market.
