**The opportunity**:
The Partnership Development Manager establishes Joint Venture Partnerships (JVP) in OW stores within an assigned region. JVP relationships ensure the continued growth of OW business as partners have a mutual and material interest to ensure the success of the service in their location.

High proactive activity is required to identify opportunities, internally and externally, that result in establishing new relationships and manage well changes to existing JVP relationships.

Some of the key tasks are:

- Establish and maintain a pipeline of talent for each unpartnered store.
- Undertake valuation, investment, loan and legal discussions with prospective partners.
- Work cross functionally with key stakeholders to maximise opportunities, talent pool development and ultimately build meaningful JVP relationships.
- Support existing partners to grow their business, teams and community identity through the provision of advice and coaching. Ensure they align to key business objectives.
- Execute end to end onboarding for all new JVPs.

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor of Commerce/Business or several years of optometry service work experience with area management experience that involved introducing and developing partners.
- Clear, concise and focused oral and written communication skills.
- A team player with an ability to build positive working relationships that helps everyone to achieve goals and business objectives.
- Negotiation and influencing skills that result in a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Ability to take a logical and analytical approach to solve problems and resolve issues.
- Effectively prioritise, work efficiently and productively, and manage time well.
- Self-starter, ability to motivate and persevere through challenging tasks.
- Resilient to change and a strong ability to keep calm in a crisis and effectively manage external pressures.
