The team is expanding and is looking to recruit a Logistics Officer whose responsibilities will be critical in helping the business run smoothly during its next phase of growth. The position will report primarily to the Logistics Manager, and work as a high-energy two-person team. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven individual with a desire to develop their career in a fast-growing ASX defence technology company.

**Responsibilities**
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and Logistic companies coordinating local and international shipments
- Arranging export licenses and customs clearance
- Preparing dispatch paperwork
- Coordinately fulfillment of multiple concurrent purchase orders
- Supporting a busy schedule of international demonstrations and events
- Ensuring shipping control processes are followed and improved over time
- Maintaining the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
- Working across internal production, sales and engineering teams to ensure project deadlines are met
- Tracking stock movements internally and externally

**Qualifications / Experience / Skills**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Approximately 1-5 years of work experience
- Knowledge of export controls such as ITAR, EAR, and DEC is preferred but not essential
- Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders and customers/ distributors
- Understanding of import and export duties, INCOTerms, and dangerous and controlled goods shipping
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically distributed team
- Strong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and handle pressure
- Clear communication (both verbal and written)
- Creative lateral thinker
- As we are a global business, you will be required to answer queries outside of usual business hours.
