Christian Dior Australia & New Zealand is offering an
unpaid internship
for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to join our Logistics team. This is a fantastic learning opportunity designed to support your studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field at an Australian or New Zealand university. As an Logistics Intern, you'll gain valuable practical experience and insights into the logistics operations of a leading luxury Maison. This role will focus on the movement of goods and materials, complementing your academic knowledge with real-world application.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Store Replenishment Support:
Assist with coordinating the timely and efficient replenishment of stock to retail locations across Australia and New Zealand.
- Monitor stock levels at retail locations and identify potential replenishment needs.
Prepare and process internal transfer requests.
Transportation & Distribution Support:
Assist with coordinating internal shipments between offices, stores, and other locations.
- Prepare shipping documentation for internal transfers.
Track internal shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
Inventory Management Support (Internal):
Assist with monitoring inventory levels within the organisation and identifying potential discrepancies.
Help reconcile inventory records related to internal transfers.
General Logistics Support:
Provide administrative support to the Logistics team.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
- Gain exposure to various aspects of a fully functioning local logistics team.
Profile
Qualifications And Experience
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field at an Australian university.
- Strong academic record.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
