Siemens Ltd. Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experience and diligent Segment Head within Siemens’ Digital Industries (DI) Measurement Intelligence product lines. This important role and function will be responsible for the Process Instrumentation and Analytics business segment in Australia and New Zealand and will be responsible for the growth of the flow, level, pressure and weighing portfolios as well as process analytics, including Continuous Gas Analysis and Chromatography. The position will be based in Bayswater (Victoria) reporting to the Country Business Unit Head, working closely with the national sales teams to provide expert-level consultative product and sales support.
- Leading the team (Internal/External Sales and Product Specialists)
- Working with distributions partners
- Achieving the budgeted targets: New Orders, Revenue and Gross Margin
- Define short-, medium
- and long-term sales strategies to achieve targets
- Lead and empower the team
- Shaping the future of the business through Digitalization and growth in non-traditional/adjacent verticals
- Growing non-dominant market share portfolios
- Functional reporting line to Measurement Intelligence Headquarter in Germany for strategy alignment and business performance: Orders and Revenue, customers management, opportunities, and products development.

In order to be successful in the role it is likely that you will
- Management and sales experience in process instrumentation and process analytics
- Strategic planning and identifying industry trends to help shape our marketing strategy
- Experience working with customers of all levels (including distributors)
- Ability to work in complex customer environments and projects
- Have a customer centric attitude
- Be collaborative across businesses and functions
- Be a role model for openness and inclusiveness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
