**Your new role**:
The senior complaints office's role is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.

Responsibilities include:

- Utilise a variety of techniques to address complaints, including investigation, conciliation, or service provider resolution.
- Handle phone calls and navigate challenging conversations while identifying, escalating, and managing risks.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare detailed reports, correspondence, and recommendations.
- Efficiently manage individual caseloads, contributing to the overall team objectives and outcomes.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and manage risk, operate within legislative requirements, and provide impartial recommendations.
- Possess well-developed time management skills, thriving in a busy environment by effectively managing caseloads and prioritising competing tasks.
- Be able to identify broader factors, trends, and influences that may impact the team’s objectives.
- Experience in aged care or clinical settings is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
