We're seeking a qualified and NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver person-centred, evidence-based support across diverse settings.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Aruma, you’ll play a vital role in improving the quality of life for people with disabilities by developing and implementing positive behaviour support plans. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work closely with individuals, families, and support networks to create meaningful outcomes that encourage independence, inclusion, and dignity.

**What you'll do**:

- Conduct functional behaviour assessments.
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Collaborate with participants, families, and support teams.
- Promote safe, respectful, and inclusive practices.

**About you**:

- A degree in Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or Developmental Disability.
- Alternatively, equivalent experience in behaviour support or disability services may be considered.
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles.
- Ability to conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments.
- Familiarity with restrictive practices and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of the PBS Capability Framework and NDIS guidelines.
- Be engaged by a registered NDIS provider or register independently.
- Commit to ongoing professional development to maintain suitability.
- Hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Must hold a current full driver’s licence and have access to a well-maintained vehicle.
