**About the Company**:
Foodbank is the largest hunger relief charity in Australia, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front-line charities that are feeding vulnerable Australians.

**About the Role**:
The organisation is seeking an IT Coordinator to be the custodian of Foodbank WA’s information technology systems and networks. The role will perform both technical and administrative tasks, creating the ICT framework and interacting with critical ICT service providers. The role will work under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities include:

- Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects.
- Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices.
- Provide technical support or enabling training for systems and networks.
- Act as a link between end users and higher-level support.
- Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards, etc)
- Monitor system and network performance.
- Undertake to perform troubleshooting and performance maintenance activities checks.
- Request IT service provides regular updates on licenses and upgrade schedules.
- Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality.
- Assist with the project management of systems implementation.

**Job Requirements**:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have the following:

- BSc/BA in information technology or computer science
- Proven experience as IT coordinator or similar role
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and coordination abilities

**Desirable**
- Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.)
- Experience working in a busy and high-pressured environment

**Other Requirements**
- Be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident with valid Australian work rights
- Current and valid WA driver's license
- National Police clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Be willing to obtain a medical assessment of current health
