Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our **Lysterfield Quarry** in VIC, approx. 40 mins drive, Southeast of Melbourne CBD.

This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.

**In your new role with us, you will**:

- Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment
- Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling

**This role is a great fit for you if you have**:

- Total commitment to risk management and OH&S
- A positive work ethic and ability to work within Hanson values and philosophies
- Excavator/Dump truck/Sales Loader/Watercart ticket is advantageous
- Experience in either Quarrying or Mining
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

**What we offer**:

- Hourly base rate from $32.85, pending experience, plus penalty rates, plus super
- Monday to Friday - average hours 5:45am - 4:00pm, overtime when required
- Rostered half day Saturday shifts, when required
